We are hiring an experienced Family Law Attorney to help us protect smart people from making stupid decisions when getting divorced.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, a proven track record of successfully handling cases, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients facing challenging family-related legal issues.
We believe in working hard to settle cases, when at all possible, but we also know that sometimes you have to take issues to Court.
$80,000 - $125,000.

Compensation:
$90,000 - $125,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and child support
Understanding how clients’ problems are more than a legal problem to them
Foster positive relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
Develop a case strategy and provide direction to paralegals and legal assistants
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements
Prepare and present cases in court, as well as negotiate settlements when appropriate
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Stay up-to-date on changes in family law legislation and regulations
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is diligent, conscientious, thorough, and able to deliver high-quality products and services to clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
An attorney at our firm needs to be detail-oriented but also flexible
Must be a licensed attorney with the State of North Carolina
At least 3-5 years of Family Law Experience strongly preferred
Experience managing a full caseload
Demonstrated success in representing clients in family law matters
Ability to quickly learn additional software platforms, such as MyCase and Dropbox
Strong organizational and attention to detail
Time management skills
