Job description
Cornerstone Building Brands is adding a Legal Intern, Sustainability to their team this summer.
The Legal Intern will augment our sustainability efforts while working directly with other members of the sustainability team and with key contacts across functional teams to complete various sustainability projects.
The intern position allows students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment while working alongside experienced professionals.
This position will work as a remote employee based out of our Cary, NC headquarters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interact with business clients and other cross functional team members
Participate in team meetings
Support various sustainability projects
Attend external networking events
Qualifications
Graduate student with the following desired majors: environmental science, supply chain management, data analytics, engineering, or other related quantitative fields
Ability to handle communication across different levels within a corporate environment
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability collect, organize, and maintain large volumes of data, including confidential information
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work remotely and have the potential to travel to manufacturing facilities, our headquarters in Cary, NC or other locations as necessary
