Position Summary
The Contracts Specialist will work alongside the existing Contract Administration, to drive the business process for customer contracts for the CDD Sales team timely.
Candidate should be a quick learner with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and strong business process skills.
Summary of crucial job functions
Completes work independently within defined policies and procedures.
Ensure contract and pricing compliance with applicable guidelines.
Be responsible for the review and execution of new and renewal contracts, as well as amendments to or extensions of contracts.
Strong communication and relationship building skills, to work well with several other departments and varying levels of management.
Interacts on a frequent basis with Sales, Accounting/Finance, IT, Field Service, Legal and Credit departments, to resolve issues timely and ensure successful contract submission, and provide flawless support to the field sales organization.
Maintain the CDD Contracts Repository in SharePoint using established methodology/ naming convention etc.
CDD Contract Database (NEW): Maintain the database records using established methodology.
Work with IT for any future updates/modifications & testing of those updates.
CDD Sales Force.
com (SFDC) Data Steward: assist with Territory Roles, Lead Assignment Rules, User changes, other SFDC requests, to align with standard processes.
Sales Quoting Tool CDPM trouble-shooting & improvements: Work with Sales and IT Programmer to trouble-shoot Sales or Finance’s problems with Quotes / price uploads.
Collaborate with Bids Specialist to integrate into total contract processes for Government (Federal, County, City, and State) Requests for Quotes & Requests for Proposals (RFQs & RFPs).
Makes decisions and develops recommended course of action often under conditions of uncertainty and demanding time frames.
Suggests contracts process improvements to standardize & streamline processes, to optimize sales cycle time.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years successful role in contracts-related work
Proven ability to optimally negotiate and work with cross-functional teams
Ability to plan and execute activities with minimal direct supervision
Problem solver, tenacious / persist to completion
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills and communication skills (written & verbal), including keeping people informed on where we are in the problem solving cycle
Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
SalesForce.
com experience is a plus
Experience with Nitro & Adobe Edit is a plus
Process-driven
Very detail-oriented, with strong prioritization skills
Very proficient with Excel, preferably including V-Lookup & Pivot Tables
Compiles and analyzes data
