Position Summary
The Americas Commercial Finance team seeks a Pricing and Contracts Specialist to support the Anesthesia and Emergency Medicine (AEM) Business Unit (BU).
In this role, the successful candidate will act as the main point of contact and/or coordinator for analytical, contract and administrative support for local, state, and national RFP/RFI/RFQ’s and/or agreements for non-named accounts across the AEM BU sales channels.
This position will work cross-functionally with the Finance, Contracts, Legal, Customer Service, and BU support services to achieve desired outcomes.
This includes supporting and managing pricing across the Airway, Pain, Urology, Emergency Medicine and MilTac sales channels.

Principal Responsibilities
• Monitor government/municipality bid boards and administer government/municipality bids and contracts.
• Monitors and coordinates the contract approval process from contract generation to contract execution for all contracts, which includes distribution of all contracts, amendments, and extensions as assigned.
• Serves as Custodian of Records for all contracts and develops and maintains database for tracking all assigned contracts and related documents.
Maintain electronic back-up files for all proposals, pricing and related analysis.
• Coordinate the redline process for RFI, RFQ and RFP’s templates to include awarded business.
• Process contract-related documents and pricing requests/approvals.
• Utilize available research tools to draw sound conclusions and effectively determine appropriate courses of action to meet the internal and external requirements for GAEM non-named agreements, as required.
• Participates in developing periodic reports to senior management concerning contract activities as needed.
• Processes all requests for ad-hoc sales/pricing reporting.
• Make recommendations based on impact analysis as required for contract proposals move plans.
• Act as a liaison with Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance and other departments as necessary.
• Utilize available research tools to effectively determine and research the requirements of GPOs, IDNs, surgery centers, hospitals, distributors, and government agencies, as required.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in accounting, auditing, finance, business administration, public administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills required.
• Minimum two years of experience working in an office environment collaborating with shared services and sales personnel required.
• Two years of government contract administration and paralegal experience preferred.
• Prior negotiation experience is a plus.

• Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with attention to detail required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform data extraction and manipulation and generate reports.
• Understanding of general sales and marketing principles.

• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• SAP experience preferred.
