About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist.
This position will report to the Legal Control Management Executive and will partner with other Control team members to support the work we do for our Legal areas.
The Senior Control Management Specialist will also be responsible for participating in RCSA workshops, and other assignments as needed.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated with a strong organizational, detail-oriented mindset; a self-starter who is accustomed to working in complex organizations with a diverse group of stakeholders; and, someone who is able to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholder groups.
In this role, you will:
Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations
Required Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of the Legal line of business
Knowledge and understanding of issue management policy
Experience creating presentations
Experience managing multiple assignments at one time
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Proficient experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and SharePoint
4-year college degree
