Our Construction practice group handles a variety of matters for a diverse group of clients, including owners, developers, general contractors, and design professionals.
Our attorneys litigate and arbitrate some of the largest construction claims in North Carolina.
They also negotiate complex construction contracts throughout the country.
This is an opportunity to join a thriving and growing construction practice in the heart of a growing state with an active construction market.
It is anticipated that the person hired for this position will work ly with other partners and senior associates on construction disputes involving claims of delay, disruptions, and defects, as well as on construction contracting matters.
The ideal candidate has zero to two years of construction experience at a large or mid-size law firm.
While experience in construction litigation and construction contracting is preferred, candidates with a demonstrable interest in the practice of construction will be considered regardless of the prior experience in the field.
Prior construction, engineering, or architectural industry experience prior to law school is preferred, but not essential.
