We are seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join our team.
The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in NC Family Law, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, property distribution, and child support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing legal documents, researching relevant laws and regulations, and providing support to attorneys during court proceedings.
Our paralegals are expected to have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents.
* Organize and maintain case files in Dropbox and Clio.
* Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case.
* Assist attorneys in preparing for trial.
* Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws and legal procedures.
* Prepare pleadings, motions, and other documents related to family law cases.
* E-filing.
* Maintain attorney calendars.
* Schedule consultations and client appointments.
* Tracking time.
* Follow office procedures.
\*Candidates who are fluent in Spanish will receive higher compensation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40,000.
