Our services include identifying competitive trends, classic IP research and complex landscape analyses, technology studies, and registration research.

Acting as a global point of contact for professional information services focusing on plant biotechnology and industrial biotechnology
Supporting BASF research and development projects with relevant information
Providing patent searches and IP analyses that may serve as the basis for legal opinions and to safeguard future fields of business, and closely collaborating with patent attorney colleagues to deliver comprehensive strategic legal advice to supported businesses.
Facilitate value-based IP steering and strategic decision-making by preparing analyses of technologies and competitors.
Working within interdisciplinary project teams to develop technologies to optimize the management of information and shape the future information services for BASF.
If you have.

Degree in natural science, preferably with background in biology, biochemistry or biotechnology, PhD is a plus.
Solid understanding of industrial research and development with focus plant and industrial biotechnology, as well as on agriculture and life sciences
Knowledge and skills relating to information analysis and basic knowledge about patents are a plus
Independent and autonomous way of working as well as competence in finding innovative solutions and their implementation in a team.
Strong communication skills in English
