You may meet with clients in the office or remotely, you may be drafting pleadings and/or discovery, reviewing a document production, or preparing for a Court hearing.
You may be negotiating settlements or handling a Mediation.
*How are Attorneys compensated?* Attorneys billable hour requirements are very reasonable, ensuring that associates have a positive work-life balance.
Compensation is based on a hybrid model— a competitive fixed annual salary and a collections bonuses based upon productivity.
Historically, the firm has also rewarded attorneys and staff with discretionary bonuses during the calendar year.
Attorneys also receive paid office holidays, paid time off for vacation/sick time as well as their birthdays off with pay.
We pay for your malpractice insurance, State Bar Dues, and continuing legal education.
We use a sophisticated cloud based case management software problem, allowing you to work remotely if needed.
We provide feedback on associate performance throughout the year, and in an annual review.
NOTE: compensation will be fully discussed if you are interviewed.

*Who is our perfect applicant? * You must hold a North Carolina law license and be in good standing with the NC State Bar.
We are seeking a candidate with excellent speaking and writing skills.
You must be attentive to detail and strive to do the best job possible.
You must be comfortable speaking to Clients and arguing in Court.
You are professional, have a strong work ethic, and an optimistic view of life and the practice of law.
You must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
*While we prefer a candidate with 1-2 years of experience, we are willing to train the right candidate.
