This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $38.
50 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Justice.
This position is located at 114 West Edenton Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
This position will draft settlement agreements, respond to motions, litigation of less complex cases, represent state agencies at mediations, and any other duties to assist staff attorneys in WC litigation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

Working knowledge of case, statutory, regulatory, and common law.
Working knowledge of judicial and quasi-judicial procedures and the rules of evidence.
Ability to conduct civil or criminal litigation.
Ability to interpret and apply constitutional provisions, statutes, administrative regulations, court decisions, and other precedents.
Ability to analyze facts, evidence, and legal instruments.
Ability to express conclusions and arguments clearly and logically in oral and written form.

Licensed to practice law by the North Carolina State Bar and one year of professional legal experience.
