We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Global Export Compliance Officer at our Wendell, NC site.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our export compliance efforts.
Our export compliance activities for the company, include:
1.
Reviewing and maintaining relevant policies and procedures
2.
Conducting due diligence steps and reviewing potential matches of screening results
3.
Providing guidance and support to CSR, purchasing, engineering, and logistics teams on export compliance matters
4.
Planning and executing regular audits to identify weaknesses and noncompliance situations
5.
Assisting with products HTS and ECCN classifications
6.
Initiating necessary processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
7.
Ensuring annual training of relevant employees
8.
Staying updated on global regulations and communicating relevant information to the appropriate functions
9.
Efficiently storing and maintaining all required records per legal requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business management, law, finance, business administration, or related field
Export compliance officer certification and regular training classes
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a global industrial company
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, risk assessment abilities
Excellent communication skills and high integrity
Problem-solving skills and comprehensive knowledge of legal and regulatory aspects of trade compliance.
